This is an awesome ridge top single track that has a lot of flow. Also the site of the largest huckleberries I've ever found. This is a great way to hit the Evolution trail and then Jewel Gulch for a long descent.

Access Info

I-90 exit 57. You can park at the base of 2 Mile Road, head up 2 Mile Road, which becomes NF-271 when you leave the pavement. The road is very rough, rocky, and at times steep. Continue past the Beef Camp trail head and up to the 2Mile saddle about 3.8 miles and 1,400 feet of climbing into the ride. Take a left onto NF-242, continue about .8 miles and take a left onto NF-2322 just past the powerline. You'll see the unmarked trail head leaving the road at a 90 angle just before where the road switchbacks. You are there.
