For years when mountain bikers wanted to connect South Benson to West Wood the only option was a road with one segment rather affectionately known as Satan's Crack. Its steep, baby heady, very little traction and somehow almost always in the full sun.

Now you can.. turn onto "The Other Cheek". You'll switchback through second growth, get one nice view, one rock roll and then you'll get to the spur road halfway up the dreaded crack.

Any users heading North to South (Westwood to Benson), there is a route around the rock roll. Please stay right to avoid riders descending the rock roll at speed.

It's big enough to trip up a novice, but not a reason to seek out the trail. It's a nice little treat part way up the climb.
