Welcome to the Hilltop Bike Park, the northern most bike park in North America.

The Hilltop Bike Park plan is to create the first lift assisted mountain bike trails in the city of Anchorage. The park features will allow skill progression for riders of all ages. The trails and features are professionally designed with the goal of becoming a world class mountain bike park Hilltop has seen the increase in demand for mountain bike trails in Anchorage and this is the perfect place and time to support the biking community.

Hilltop’s bike park design is focused to ensure that we both maintain and expand our current mission to bring outdoor recreation opportunities to the youth of our community while building a long-term sustainable operation and community asset. The park design will include both dirt and wood features modeled after other world-class bike parks in Utah, Colorado, Canada, and Washington.

The bike park was designed to incorporate features for all skill levels ranging from young kids with “push-bikes” to intermediate and advanced level riders. With the addition of the mountain bike park at Hilltop, the park will also serve as a year-round, meeting place for our Anchorage outdoor recreation community. Future opportunities will include bike clinics, lessons, and camps to support members of Anchorage to get outside and exercise all while developing biking skills in a safe environment.

All this cannot happen without the support of our community friends. Hilltop is wanting to raise $250,000 to fund the capital project. Please consider a tax-deductible donation through this website to help make history at Hilltop. The lift ticket sales will support the daily operations of the bike park. Donations from the community help to make capital improvements to offer more here at Hilltop Ski Area. Hilltop does not receive any money from the city to operate or expand Hilltop. Hilltop is operated by Youth Exploring Adventure Inc. a non-profit that oversees the operation of the ski area. Hilltop operates the ski area on a long-term lease from the Municipality of Anchorage.
