Android or iOS Software Engineer

Description
Trailforks is looking to improve the quality of our mobile apps and to increase the speed with which we can deliver new features. Right now the Trailforks app is written as a Cordova hybrid app with a custom mapping plugin written in Swift for iOS and Java for Android. We’re looking to move more of our critical components over to native code. You will be joining the team with a strong web background, and be the primary developer for the Android or iOS codebases.

Requirements
– For Android, 3+ years of Android experience in Java
– For iOS, 3+ years of iOS experience, and at least 1 year with Swift
– Proficiency in designing and implementing complex user interfaces for iOS or Android
– Proficiency with Javascript
– Bonus: experience with any of the following technologies: SQL, Ionic 1, Angular 1, Mapbox, PHP, networking libraries & integrating with backend APIs

Full Stack Developer (PHP/Mapping/Backend)

Description
Trailforks is looking to increase the speed with which we can deliver new features & fix bugs to our website. Candidates will need experience with PHP, MySQL & Postgres for backend development. Much of our work revolves around spatial data, so experience with that is also required. Coordinating with other developers for feature parity in our mobile iOS/Android app.
