Barely intermediate, mostly easy riding, especially after you break off of the rim and make a 180 up to the mesa it really smooths out. Some fast fun sections give this trail some great flow.
Adaptive Bike Info
aMTB 2 Rating: Obstacles exist. You may or may not be able to ride this solo. Support rider recommended.
There are 2 or 3 semi off-camber spots that are questionable. Take a support rider the first time. Best counter-clockwise.

Great trail worth the drive and the entrance fee

Sadly Traiforks data is incorrect for this trail and all mountain bike trails in Dead Horse State Park, dogs are NOT allowed. We were very sad to have to leave our dog in the car (fortunately in cool weather) after encountering a ranger towards the beginning of the trail. The park website confirms dogs are only allowed on the hiking trails.

The route done backwards is easier as far as climbing goes. Has lots of fun low-intermediate technical sections. Beautiful views, nice flow.

A little more tech but still easy and family friendly. Lots more people on this side.
