National Scenic Trail or Official Route (GRT)
The wilds of Texas and New Mexico High Country
Extending from the top of west Texas through the high deserts of New Mexico, the Guadalupe Ridge Trail (GRT) is an exciting south west trail experience. Winding through two national parks, a national forest and the desert landscape of BLM, the trail encompasses over 100 miles of hiking and camping scenic wonders.

Your vacation being on the highest point in Texas at Guadalupe Mountains National Park. The GRT winds through the hidden oasis of Sitting Bull Falls in Lincoln National Forest and continues through rugged backcountry, past Carlsbad Caverns for a bonus subterranean excursion.
