The 2015 Montana Enduro Series kicks off with the Helenduro. This year's course is 11.1 miles, with 2,300' of climbing. There are four timed segments:

Segment 1: Top of the World to Davis Gulch (922' descending in 1.7 miles)
A mix of wide-open ridgeline blasting and twisty bermy trails, this will be the fastest part of the race. Watch out for the hard left-hand turn on the cliff above Rent Money - you don't want to go off the trail there.

Segment 2: Pay Dirt Trail (264' descending in 0.3 mile)
Short but rocky, fast, and fun.

Segment 3: Eddye McClure West (339' descending in 1.1 miles)
This is where the XC types might claw back some time. This trail is not as steep, but there are some rocks and turns to keep you on your game.

Segment 4: Eddye McClure East (578' feet descending in 1.3 miles)
The upper 2/3 of this segment runs through tight trees on a sidehill, and there will be a few things to dodge at race pace. At the eastern edge of the ridge, the trail opens up into Ponderosa meadows with some big sweeping turns, long sightlines, and an all-out sprint to the finish.

A detailed map of the course showing timing stations, course marshals and first aid is available here and the race weekend timeline is available here.

This trail is a lot of fun, GREAT flow with plenty of rock bumps and small jumps mixed in, really enjoyed this one!

I'll answer my own question: The trail is there, but it crosses private land. Signs posted say considerate hikers and bikers are permitted to use the trail as long as they don't shuttle to the trail and they don't congregate.

After Dry Gulch and Before Top of the World: That is not marked as a trail in Trailforks. Is that trail still there and open to the public?
