I ride it once a week at least. It’s actually in good shape and fun to ride. Exciting exposure, tough climbs and switchbacks, cool scenery. Combine with Tree Fern for a nice loop, but walk the 100’ cliff section.	Dry	view

Tire Mountain	Alpine Trails	Jul 5, 2022 @ 7:28pm 7 hours	ATCA is in great shape. Bit of braking bumps on Alpine, but nothing new there. New CloverPatch connector is still bedding in, but still better than the road climb. I do this trail annually, and if you have the fitness, this is one of the best epic rides out there. And my data is too, a bit off of what TF states with elevation gain and loss a bit over 4000ft of climbing and 7000 decent. But, you will not be disappointed.	Ideal	view

Initial routing is complete but is still a work in process so use caution and watch for branches to guide your way. Some features will be moved and rebuilt. Some soft spots remain. Probably only 1% of the trail on the north Hope half of the trail is overgrown, but those sections feel long. even hikers will be brushing up on vegetation through the dense sections, which feel long. Realistically, it's fine. Just wear gloves and/or long sleeve if this bothers you. I was not itchy afterwards, and didnt wear gloves. If you have wide handlebars, 760mm+, keep a strong grip.
