Jul 5, 2022 @ 2:09pm 12 hours | 23 trees down on 7/4/22 | Ideal | view
Jul 5, 2022 @ 10:14am 16 hours | Approx 15 down trees. Pulled ~5 off the trail. Several will require chainsaw. | Wet | view
Jul 5, 2022 @ 10:12am 16 hours | 29 Down trees. Some cleared by hand but chainsaw needed. | Wet | view
Jul 5, 2022 @ 7:10am 19 hours | Rode top to bottom on the lick horse loop and the first third was a sloppy mess. Mud and puddles everywhere, completely unrideable. Dries out somewhat after that, but the best parts of the trail we had to walk through. Deep ruts from MTB and dirt bikes passing through in most big puddle areas. Not worth it until it dries- significant clay/ mud gumbo- Needs some time to firm up. | Prevalent Mud | view
Jul 5, 2022 @ 7:08am 19 hours | Minor erosion (trail braiding, small ruts developing, brake bumps) Very soggy after last weeks rain. Probably needs a few hot dry days to firm up. | Wet | view
Jul 4, 2022 @ 6:45pm 1 day | Down log 200 yards from Overlook intersection. Slow down and keep your eyes up! The bushes are tall and the log comes up quick. | Dry | view
Jul 4, 2022 @ 6:44pm 1 day | Down log 200 yards below the Overlook intersection. BE CAREFUL! This is a super high speed section, and the bushes are tall—smacking this log would be a bad time. Slow down and keep your eyes up. | Dry | view
Jul 4, 2022 @ 3:14pm 1 day | There are a couple wet spots in the usual places but otherwise the trail is in great shape. | Dry | view
Jul 4, 2022 @ 2:34pm 1 day | Tacky, not muddy. Motos have stirred up some rocks in a few spots. | Ideal | view
Jul 4, 2022 @ 2:33pm 1 day | Most of the trail is ideal but there is some puddles | Variable | view
Jul 4, 2022 @ 1:50pm 2 days | Shafthouse has a few spots higher up that still have snow patches, but they are easily avoidable. The gate near the bottom has barbed wire across it, so be prepared to climb through the fence. 1 attendees | Ideal | view
Jul 4, 2022 @ 11:48am 2 days | Pretty much all cut out and rideable | Ideal | view
Jul 4, 2022 @ 11:41am 2 days | Most of the trails in the city are paved and in excellent condition. We were on MTBs but these are multi purpose trails. | Very Dry | view
Jul 4, 2022 @ 7:03am 2 days | Some decent mud sections remain, but otherwise pretty solid. No down trees this morning. | Variable | view

Jul 3, 2022 @ 5:04pm 2 days | Large tree down at 2.4 miles from the trailhead. And at 3 miles the creek over ran the trail and put a large hole in the trail. Otherwise the trail is in great condition all the up to the wading creek crossing. | Ideal | view
Jul 3, 2022 @ 12:35pm 3 days | Dry | view

Jul 3, 2022 @ 12:35pm 3 days | Ideal | view
Jul 2, 2022 @ 6:00pm Jul 2, 2022 | A few wet spots, but all rideable. I cut out 5-6 trees. 5-6 more are still down, a few of which can be ridden/hopped over. Right at the end of the trail, just before getting on the old road section that takes you back to the Wildhorse Junction on the Mystic Lake road, the water has eroded a small chasm that must be crossed over a "bridge" of tree trunks. 1 hours 1 attendees | Variable | view
Jul 2, 2022 @ 5:55pm Jul 2, 2022 | The bottom 3-4mi (on the Route 12 end) are extremely rough with an abundance of loose rocks. Would be somewhat annoying on a mtb, was fairly horrible on a gravel bike. | Ideal | view
Jul 2, 2022 @ 2:33pm Jul 2, 2022 | Large tree down across trail, blocking trail (~5-10 of them). Other than that, some small muddy spots and the trail is looking great. | Ideal | view
Jul 2, 2022 @ 2:13pm Jul 2, 2022 | Trees are cleared. Trail is in great shape except one little meadow section in the middle where it's easy to whack your pedals. reporter 4 hours 1 attendees | Ideal | view
Jul 2, 2022 @ 1:35pm Jul 2, 2022 | There are 28 trees down between the top (junction of Dry and Pine) and the gate where the climbing road meets the singletrack descent. Other than climbing over trees the trail rode (downhill) spectacularly | Dry | view
Jul 2, 2022 @ 1:32pm Jul 2, 2022 | Trail is 99% free of snow minus a shirt 1/4 mile section at ridge top. approximately seven small trees down (including a large one on trailhead spur road). Generally ride awesome (uphill) today). | Dry | view
Jul 2, 2022 @ 12:45pm Jul 2, 2022 | Trail is beat up by horses. | Dry | view

Jul 2, 2022 @ 10:39am Jul 2, 2022 | This trail needs a name and it needs to be on the map, really fun trail that I think everyone can ride most fun from turkey trot to powerline | Ideal | view
Jul 2, 2022 @ 10:39am Jul 2, 2022 | Ideal | view
Jul 2, 2022 @ 10:39am Jul 2, 2022 | Dry and clear, but horses have made for a pretty loose trail surface. | Ideal | view
Jul 2, 2022 @ 10:39am Jul 2, 2022 | Cleared 7 trees, there's probably another 15+ that will need a chainsaw or a lot more time to clear. The climb still has snow in some spots and is generally variable conditions (wet and greasy around snow patches), so there's some hike-a-bike involved. Meadows at the top are wet but generally rideable without damage. Whole descent was snow free and in pretty prime condition other than the downed trees. 1 hours 1 attendees | Variable | view

Jul 1, 2022 @ 7:58pm Jul 1, 2022 | Beautiful trail, perfect condition | Dry | view
Jul 1, 2022 @ 7:57pm Jul 1, 2022 | Many blown down trees, very steep, more of a motorcycle trail, mostly hike a bike, too many downed trees to catch a flow, first and last time on trail, great views | Dry | view
Jul 1, 2022 @ 6:05pm Jul 1, 2022 | Dry and clear, I think they raked it. | Dry | view
Jul 1, 2022 @ 6:03pm Jul 1, 2022 | The upper section is a rippin’ little descent down to the Upper Beehive Trailhead. | Dry | view

Jul 1, 2022 @ 8:25am Jul 1, 2022 | 1 or 2 muddy spots (expected) on Logger's. Otherwise - riding awesome! | Unknown | view
Jun 30, 2022 @ 8:38pm Jun 30, 2022 | Super brushy. I love this trail but it needs a little work. | Dry | view
Jun 30, 2022 @ 7:20pm Jun 30, 2022 | About a dozen down trees on the trail. | Ideal | view
Jun 30, 2022 @ 6:53pm Jun 30, 2022 | FAMB Trail Crew spot brushed, installed drains, and cleared trees on the entire trail in 2 days. In total: 15 obstructing trees removed, 150 ft of heavy brushing alder away from trail. One tree remains near top, but is passable. Heavy moto use leads to cupping of the trail, and as such there are several sections where trail tread is a foot and a half lower than the surrounding ground. Pedaling up might prove difficult, but the ride down will be fun! reporter 20 hours 3 attendees | Ideal | view
Jun 30, 2022 @ 6:52pm Jun 30, 2022 | Large tree down across trail, blocking trail, about midway. It's been here for a long time, as it appears people have made a path around it. Still, it should be handled. Futhermore, this whole trail is on the verge of being reclaimed by nature. The trail itself is often very hard to find due to the tall grass. It really needs some attention. | Ideal | view
Jun 30, 2022 @ 6:50pm Jun 30, 2022 | Large tree down across trail, blocking trail just to the east of the creek crossing that has the logs across it. | Dry | view
Jun 30, 2022 @ 3:59pm Jun 30, 2022 | There are more like 10 trees down now at the top. | Variable | view
Jun 30, 2022 @ 2:48pm Jun 30, 2022 | A little tight between cut logs and vine maple in spots, but in excellent shape, cut out, and dry. | Ideal | view

Jun 29, 2022 @ 8:33pm Jun 29, 2022 | A couple big trees in the first 3 miles, but that's it. I cleared about a half dozen smaller ones. Dirt's in great shape, nice and damp in there. | Very Dry | view
Jun 29, 2022 @ 7:46pm Jun 29, 2022 | 13 trees removed from the trail. All clear through the history rock junction. 6 hours 1 attendees | Ideal | view
Jun 29, 2022 @ 7:43pm Jun 29, 2022 | Started at the Rattlesnake Main Corridor car park today and rode this. Quite a bit of snow on the switchbacks at the top. Steep and slick. Hats off to the sawyers and swampers who performed a herculean effort to cut 100's of large diameter trees off this trail. Thank you!! What an epic. | Variable | view
Jun 29, 2022 @ 7:35pm Jun 29, 2022 | Tree cleared with folding saw.....13 minutes. Carry one of these if you can | Ideal | view
Jun 29, 2022 @ 7:21pm Jun 29, 2022 | No snow until the sheep mtn downhill switchbacks. Steep and slick. Sawyers have done a stand-up job cutting a wealth of trees across the trail. Hats off. | Snow Covered | view
Jun 29, 2022 @ 7:18pm Jun 29, 2022 | Really muddy in spots but still doable and clear to the saddle. Thanks to whoever was clearing the trees today! The trail is really rough this year, several rutty washouts to challenge your “skills”. | Variable | view
Jun 29, 2022 @ 7:11pm Jun 29, 2022 | I only rode up until the Slide junction. A few mud bogs at the beginning, pretty rough and bumpy most of the way due to horses. Some snow patches began appearing around the Slide turnoff. It’ll be a couple weeks before it’s rideable to Carrot Basin. Horse packers saw a Grizz partway up. | Variable | view
Jun 29, 2022 @ 7:04pm Jun 29, 2022 | A bunch of trees down in the first mile off the top. Otherwise it was pretty good, a little rough and rocky and horse effected in the typical spots. Saw a mama grizz with tiny cub in one of the lower meadows. | Ideal | view
Jun 29, 2022 @ 4:00pm Jun 29, 2022 | Trail is dry and downed trees are cleared. All is good to go | Dry | view
Jun 29, 2022 @ 1:17pm Jun 29, 2022 | Large tree down across trail, blocking trail - couple smaller trees here maybe 5 or so from Ross to first 1.5 miles or so. Will try to arrange trail night. | Ideal | view
Jun 29, 2022 @ 9:30am Jun 29, 2022 | Trees down following last nights thunderstorm- 2 right above the mine shift and another just past the moser junction on the climb. One down on the descent right before that hip to nowhere. | Dry | view
Jun 29, 2022 @ 6:36am Jun 29, 2022 | Some good mud holes still. One large down tree as well. Other than that trail is in great shape and running fast | Variable | view
Jun 28, 2022 @ 6:35pm Jun 28, 2022 | FAMB Trail Crew has been working on this section on and off for the past couple weeks. We were able to put eyes on the entire section and can confirm: no major trees down! We cleared 5 obstructing trees and performed 19 cutbacks in May, along with spot brushing in bad sections. Remember: trail conditions change day-to-day, and animals are about! Carry bear deterrents and ride in control. reporter 9.1 hours 3 attendees | Ideal | view

Jun 28, 2022 @ 6:19pm Jun 28, 2022 | FAMB spent 3 days installing drains, performing cutbacks, and clearing obstructing trees from the trail corridor. In total: 44 obstructing trees removed, 44 cutbacks, and 0.3 miles of trail brushed in the worst sections. This trail is open and ready to ride! Consider a loop with the road for an easy up and a fun down! Remember: trail conditions change day-to-day, so always be ready for obstacles! reporter 29.3 hours 3 attendees | Ideal | view

Jun 28, 2022 @ 1:56pm Jun 28, 2022 | Nice! The aspens are beautiful! Parked at Raynolds Pass and rode to the Mile Creek junction. It made for a nice 8-mile out-and-back. | Dry | view
Jun 28, 2022 @ 1:50pm Jun 28, 2022 | Double track. In places the tracks are so deep and narrow that it was slow going due to pedal strikes. Great connector to the Mile Creek cutoff. | Dry | view
Jun 28, 2022 @ 7:18am Jun 28, 2022 | Infested with noxious/invasive weeds. | Dry | view
Jun 28, 2022 @ 6:35am Jun 28, 2022 | The trail is clear, and free of snow and downfall. The segment of road above to Mineral Peak is also clear except for a few snow patches that can be easily hiked. | Dry | view
Jun 27, 2022 @ 6:56pm Jun 27, 2022 | In order to keep this a multi-use trail, the tree has been removed. | Dry | view
